Obituary
CARENCRO -Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 14, 2004, at a Mass in Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro for Mrs. Don Guilbeau, 90, the former Elby Stelly, who died at 6:33 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2004, in J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Grand Coteau.

Mrs. Guilbeau was a native and lifelong resident of Prairie Basse. She had been a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau.

Survivors include one daughter, Doris Clause, of Carencro; one grandchild, Brenda C. Cormier, of Lafayette; two great-grandchildren, Stacy Cormier, of Austin, Texas, and Marty Cormier and his wife, Sherri, and their son, Collin, all of Scott; and one sister, Alice Tentello, of Port Arthur, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Guilbeau; her parents, John L. Stelly and the former Alice Breaux; two brothers, Ellis Stelly and Elzy Stelly; and three sisters, Elfie Stelly, Effie Cormier and Adley Clavelle.

Pallbearers will be Merrick Stelly, Floyd Stelly, Carrol Clavelle, David Lormand, Charles Stelly and Don Miller.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro was in charge of arrangements.
