ALONZO PEA

Alonzo Pea, 88, formerly of the Town of Oakfield, died Sunday, April 1, 1984, at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 18, 1896, in Dalton City, Ill., to Peter and Mary Fiest Pea. He married Dorothea Smith on Sept. 2, 1924, and she died in April of 1973. In 1976, he married Mrs. Camilla Grams at Waupun, and she died in 1981.

Mr. Pea served in World War I. He farmed in the Town of Oakfield. He was a member of Oakfield United Methodist Church, Oakfield and Waupun Senior Citizens and Waupun Golden Agers.

Surviving are three sons, Clarence, Irvin and Marvin all of Oakfield; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul of Loganway, Fla., and Jacob Rhodes of Corning, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Laura McClaffin of Beloit.

Three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oakfield United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Collins will officiate, and burial will be in Rock River Cemetery, Town of Waupun.

Friends of Mr. Pea may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kohls Funeral Home, Oakfield, and at the church form 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services.
