OREM- Cleone Beus Judkins, 76, died Jan 17, 1983, in a Provo hospital.
Born May 8, 196, Hooper, to James R. and Susan Parker Beus. Married Leonard N. Judkins, March 21, 1929, Vancouver, Wash. The marriage was solemnized a year later in the Salt Lake Temple. He died March 5, 1969. Grew up in Hooper, Utah, and graduated from Weber College. Lived in Rigby and Burley, Idaho, and Ephraim and Orem, Utah. Member LDS Church, serving as Relief Society President, Singing Mother’s leader and teacher. A youth leader in church programs. Involved many years in Seminary program with her husband, and later was an ordinance worker in Provo Temple.
Survivors: four sons, Dwain Judkins, Orem; Carlton Judkins, Moses Lake, Wash.; Carlos Judkins, Kirkland Wash.; Carlos Judkins, Kirkland, Wash.; J. Leonard Judkins, West Valley City; 32 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five brothers Levi Beus, Rodney Beus, Jay Beus, all Hooper; Evan Beus, Othello, Wash.; Rulon Beus, Orem a son, Newell K. Judkins, preceded her in death.
Funeral services Thursday, Jan 10, 11 a.m., Orem 52nd ward, 130 N. 400 West. Friends may call Wednesday, 7-9 p.m., Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, Orem, and at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, North Ogden Ben Lomond Cemetery.
