Funeral services for James Earl Curtis, 75, will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011, 1 p.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Rev. John Hardin and the Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial to follow in Fayetteville Cemetery. Mr. Curtis died January 1, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by sons, Rodger James Curtis of Fayetteville, AL, Timothy Earl Curtis of Sylacauga, Charles Allen Curtis of Fayetteville; daughters, Samantha Curtis Tinney of Childersburg, Diane Curtis of Jasper; sister, Francis Kelley of Childersburg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe Tinney, Preston Lindenthaler, Joseph Curtis, Robert Curtis, Jamie Curtis and Lonnie Tinney.
