Springfield - Mrs. Geneva (Neva) Slater Rahn, 71, died suddenly after an apparent heart attack Saturday night at her residence.

A native of Bryan County, she had lived in Springfield for the past 50 years and was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband, Hamilton M. Rahn of Springfield; three stepsons, Charles H. Rahn of Dallas, Tex., Earl S. Rahn of Port Wentworth and Warren O. Rahn of Guyton; three sisters, Mrs. Dolly Blitch of Pembroke; Mrs. Fena Easterling of Rome, Ga., and Mrs. Nancy Brewton of Pahokee, Fla.; a brother, S. W. Slater of Newington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
