Fred W. Bahlow, Springfield, for the last ten years employed by the board of education as janitor at Stuart school, died yesterday at Springfield hospital. He was 68 years old. He had been a patient at the hospital l six weeks.
Surviving are his wife Marie; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Brown; three sons, Carl T., Edward H. and Walter G., all of this city; two brothers, Herman, Athens, and August, Farrill, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Duckwitz and Mrs. Bertha Alwerdt, both of Altamont, and Mrs. Minnie Adermenn, Vera; also eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Bahlow was born at Altamont and had lived in Springfield the last forty-five years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
