Edith Barrett Crump was the daughter of the late Perry O. and Lucy Lupo Barrett and had lived in Brooks County for many years. Mrs. Crump was a member of the Charity Baptist Church and a retired registered nurse at South Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Crump was very young at heart and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was very involved in the lives of her family and the work of her church.
Mrs. Crump leaves two sons, James Allen and Phillip Lee; grandchildren, James Allen, Michael, Tommy, Ben, Paul, Bree, Beth and Ann; great grandchildren, Destiny, Grant, Mickie, Charity and Ethan; two brothers, Perry O., Jr.and Alton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harrison Crump, two sons, Thomas Harrison Crump, Jr., and Edward Crump, and a sister and brother in law, Mildred and Homer Johnson.
