Ronald Lee Cammans, 77, passed away on January 3, 2011 in Springfield, MO, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Diabetes. Ron was born on June 2, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Carlous and Violet Cammans.

Ron attended Granite High School and later received his Bachelors degree at the University of Utah in Accounting. He entered into the family business and later took over the business; Utah Venetian Blind and Awning. Ron loved sports and could talk for hours about sports. He also was a very social person and knew no stranger.

He was an excellent father to his three surviving children: Char Cammans, Cole Cammans, and Gaylynn Crosby, and son-in-law Cory Crosby. He is also survived by his four siblings: Frank Cammans, Kay Duvall, Dean Cammans and Kirk Cammans; his five grandchildren; Chris, Jeni, Sarah, Steven and Stephanie; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00am at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So. 2300 E., Salt Lake City, Utah 84109, where friends and family can visit from 9:30 to 10:30am prior to the funeral.

Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests money be donated to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
