Funeral Services Held For Bernard Kralman
Bernard Kralman, 68, died at noon Thursday at his home northwest of Teutopolis. Death was the result of a heart attack.
Mr. Kralman, a retired farmer, was born December 24, 1882, in St Louis, the son of the late Weneislaus Kralman and Christine Koebbe Kralman. On October 19, 1904 he was married to Miss Frances Buennemeyer in St Francis Church in Teutopolis.
He served for many years as a member of the Teutopolis grade school board and as trustee of St Francis Church. He was a member of St Francis Church and the Holy Name Society.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, two daughters, Mrs. Ben (Marie) Huelsing, and Mrs. Edward (Julia) Jansen of Teutopolis. Two brothers, Herman of Effingham and Harry of Teutopolis; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. Three children who died in infancy and two sisters preceded him in death.
The body was taken to the Habing Funeral Home where he remained until time of services. The rosary was recited Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at 8 a.m. in St Francis Church. Reverend Egbert Huster, O.F.M., officiated at the solemn requiem high mass and Reverend Alexis Pruemer, assisted.
Pall bearers were neighbors of the deceased namely, Ben Renschen, Harry Metten, John Kohlmeyer, John Hilgefort Henry Funneman, and Sylvester Funneman.
Burial was in St Francis cemetery.
