Spring memorial services planned
Doris M. Knorr, 86, of Rohrsburg passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Orangeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Feb. 14, 1924, in Fern Glen, she was a daughter of the late Russel and Elanor Naugle Ansbach.
She worked at ILC and the Charmund Nursing Home and was a member of the Greenwood Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Knorr; and six brothers: Harvey, Jack, Rodney, Wright, Sam and Harry Ansbach.
She is survived by two daughters: Harriet and her husband, Leonard Rudy, of Tennessee; Marie and her husband, Clarence Geiwate; five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Ansbach, of Alabama; and two sisters: Lois Sterner of Bendertown; and Joana Conford of Virginia.
