Noble V. WEST, 61, Mesa, Ariz., a former Newcastle township resident, died about noon Saturday in a Scottsdale, Ariz. hospital. He had been in failing health 12 years and seriously ill one year. A retired farmer, Mr. West had lived in Mesa the last eight years, moving there from Newcastle township. He was born May 30, 1902 in Winamac. He was married to Thelma GOLIDAY who survives. Mr. West was a member of the First Christian church in Mesa. Surviving with the wife are a son, Kenneth [WEST], Mesa; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Mary Kathryn) KUBLEY, R.R. 1, Argos; two grandsons; a sister, Mrs. Bernice TOW, Boyton Beach, Fla., and two brothers, William [WEST], Kokomo, and Arley [WEST], Logansport. A brother and a sister preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. Delbert RUEBERG officiating. Burial will be in the Reichter cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
