"An update regarding the information for John Christian Bhend. Robert John Bhend, my father, b. 25 Dec 1922, d. 22 Aug 1985 is also buried in the cemetery. The location is the Marble plot just west over the rise from the Reed/Bhend plot. The Marbles are my maternal side of the family. Theodore Bhend, John's brother is also buried in the cemetery down east by the road from the Reed/Bhend plot."

In November 1933, John Bhend and his daughter, Helen, and son, Robert, traveled to Oakdale to spend Thanksgiving with his mother.

John married Margaret Charlotte Barnes, and the couple had two children. They divorced when the children were young, and Margaret married Emilio Filliberti.

John's son passed away in Stockton August 22, 1985. His daughter passed away in 2003 and is buried in this cemetery.
