Mr. Nazelrod was born September 28, 1930, in Mathias, W.Va., and was the son of the late William Grant and Stella Grace Michael Nazelrod.
He was retired from Wampler Longacre after 39 years. He was a member of the Chimney Rock V.F.W. Post 9660 and the NRA. He also served in the Army during the Korean War.
On February 3, 1952, he married the former Helen Virginia Tusing who survives.
Also surviving besides his wife. are a brother, Willard Grant Nazelrod of Owings Mills, Md., two sisters, Willie Gertrude Seymore of Theodore, Alabama, Laura Rebecca Truesdale of Quakertown, Penn., deceased brother and sisters, Elwood Michael Nazelrod, Rosalie Habig, Edna Arbutus Burkett.
The Revs. Chuck Eayres and James B. Shoemaker will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Indepence Community Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Grove Cemetery in Fulks Run.
