Ralph Eugene Bryan, 69, lifelong Guymon resident, passed away Monday evening, January 3rd, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The son of James LaRoy and Katie (Davis) Bryan, he was born on December 13, 1941 in Guymon.

Ralph attended Guymon schools, graduating with the Class of 1959. He was united in marriage to Betty Palmer on October 7, 1961 in Guymon.

Mr. Bryan worked for Tri-State Supermarket, was a parts man with Woolwines for several years, and retired with Donrey Cable in the mid 1990's.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, R.C. and Cyrus Bryan.

Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; two sons, Randy Bryan and Kelly Bryan both of Guymon; one grandson, James Bryan; one great granddaughter, Jaylyn Bryan; and one sister, Guyneth Simmons and husband, Jolly of Rancho Cordova, California.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, January 7th at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel with Rev. Odie Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.

The Bryan family request memorials be given to a charity of choice. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
