Marene Austein, 92, of Memphis was born September 17, 1918 and passed away Sunday January 2, 2011 at The Med of Memphis. She was retired from G.E. and was the owner of Finest Fashions & Fabrics in Frasure for many years. Mrs. Austein is survived by her husband of 47 years, Eddie Austein; granddaughter, Stormy McRae of Dallas, TX; daughter-in-law, Carolyn McRae Kuykendall of Greers Ferry, AR; sister, Edith Rose of Parkin, AR; brother, Joe (June) Wilkins of Flippin, AR; sister, Edith Rose of Parkin, AR; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas McRae; parents, William & Mindie Wilkins; sisters, Nadene Jaggers of Mississippi, Marcelle Wood of Parkin, AR; brother, Waymond Wilkins of Jacksonville, AR. The family will receive friends from 1 until service time at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2011 both at Family Funeral Care-Memphis with the interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
