Irene B. Booker, 81, of Columbus died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1998, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Inlow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street, with the Rev. Sam Mills officiating. Calling will be from 11:30 a.m. to service time Friday. Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
Mrs. Booker was born in Columbus July 17, 1917, the daughter of James Albert and Rosella Knotts Brinker. She married Neal M. Booker Sept. 2, 1939. He died Aug. 3, 1991.
Survivors include a sister, Alta Abney of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by a daughter; three brothers; and two sisters.
