Mrs. Carrie Lee Teroy, 68, life-time resident of Portageville, died at her home there Sunday, May 6, and funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church, of which she had long been a member. The Rev. E.A. Boyer conducted the service and burial was in Portageville cemetery, with LaForge Undertaking Company service.
Mrs. Teroy, widow of the late Freeman Teroy, was born in Portageville, March 9, 1888.
She is survived by three sons, Frances Teroy of Portageville, Glen Corrigan of Los Angeles and Robert Corrigan of St. Louis; four daughters, Mrs. Irene Hall of Portageville, Mrs. Amelia Shull of Ridgely, Tenn., Mrs. Catherine Johnson of St. Louis county and Mrs. Dorothy Griffin of Ft. Worth, Texas; also 32 grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
