Helen Howell Pflumm, 85, of McMurray died Wednesday. She was a former area resident. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence C. Pflumm; daughter Hilda M. Lindsay; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and sisters and brother; Mary J. Huemme, Martha Yarnell and John C. Howell. Friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert E. Wilson Funeral Home, McMurray. Service will be conducted there tomorrow at 10 a.m. and burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Peace Lutheran Church, Greenock.
