BANNER – Roy Fay Camp, 82, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at Golden Living Nursing Center in Batesville. He was born June 3, 1928, in Calhoun County. He retired from Delta Casket Co. in Memphis, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel of Bruce with the Rev. Dwight Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Banner Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marlene Wright Camp of Banner; one daughter, Shirley Fay Camp of Banner; six nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Camp and Vannie Jane Raley Camp; five brothers, Winfred Camp, Elton Camp, Clinton Camp, Sanford Camp and Frank Camp; and two sisters, Evelene Camp and Dorothy Camp.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Camp, Donald Camp, Kevin Camp, Larry Davis, Charlie Huckaby and Edward Huckaby.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
