Marshall Albert DeWolf a resident of Port Lambton passd away suddenly at the hospital in Wallaceburg on Wednesday, March 21, 2001 in his 80th year.
Marshall had farmed in Dover from 1944 - 1969.
Beloved husband of Annabelle (Jae).
Loving father of Ron & Kathy DeWolf of Wallaceburg, Jim DeWolf of Wallaceburg, Ken & Brenda DeWolf of Chatham and Marj & George Parkes of Port Lambton.
Dear grandfather of Kristi & Mark, Sherri, Kevin, Jason, Cindy, Shannon and Kelly.
Brother of Mary & Jack Bachus of Wallaceburg, Marg Lauzon of Wallaceburg, Maurice & Pat of Sombra and the late George DeWolf, Sue Simpson, Anna Seys and Andy DeWolf.
He was the son of the late Hector & Leontine (DeVriese) DeWolf.
Friends called at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin), in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Friday. The funeral service was conducted by Fr. Dennis Wilhelm on Saturday March 24, 2001 at the funeral home at 11 o'clock.
The soloist was granddaughter Kelly DeWolf accompanied by Cindy Waddick.
The readings were delivered by granddaughters Shannon and Kristi DeWolf.
The pallbearers were Tom Bachus, Terry Bachus, John Bachus, Mark DeWolf, Jeff DeWolf and Dale Seys.
A time of fellowship & refreshment at the Cavanagh Reception Centre followed the interment at Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
