Undated Obit clipping possibly from Mon. Jan. 14, 1907 Guernsey Times.
Friends here were much surprised to hear of the recent passing of Mr. David Wylie of Mt. Perry Ohio, which occurred January 8th 1907. Mr. Wylie was a son-in-law of the late Henry McCartney, ex-commissioner of Guernsey County. His wife, Mrs. Martha Wylie has been with her sister, Miss Mary McCartney, a good portion of the time this fall during the sickness and death of the latter, but did not stay for the funeral as she had received word from home that her husband was quite poorly with "Lagrippe" and left on Saturday, January 5th. On arriving home she found him in a serious condition from pneumonia, worse than had been reported to her. On the following Tuesday morning, he passed away from time into eternity.
