MISSOULA-Memorial services for former Trout Creek resident Douglas Wesley Frost, 41, of Missoula, were held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Squire Simmons & Carr Funeral Home in Missoula. A memorial reception was held Sunday at the Thompson Falls Senior Citizens Center.
Mr. Frost died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1995, of complications of diabetes at his home in Missoula.
He was born Aug. 27, 1953, to Beulah and Bill Frost at Missoula, where he was reared and educated.
He later worked for the Louisiana Pacific Mill at Trout Creek.
He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Douglas was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed both carpentry and a collection of bamboo fly rods. He will be fondly remembered as a good father and son.
Survivors include four sons, Christopher Frost and Craig Frost, both of Everett, Wash.; Curtis Frost, Missoula; and Seth Frost, Thompson Falls; a daughter, Kimberley Frost, Everett; his parents, Bill and Beulah Frost, Trout Creek; a grandmother, Margaret Thomas, Olympia, Wash.; a brother Dean Frost, Thompson Falls; a sister, Denise Haney, Aberdine, Wash,; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Devorah Lee Johnson.
The family suggested memorials to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Building Fund. 1115 S. Reserve, Missoula, MT 59801.
