Mrs. Alice P. McELHENEY, 84, Peru, died at 6:35 p.m. Thursday at the Miller Merry Manor nursing home in Peru. She had been ill for 15 months.
She was born Sept. 11, 1888, in Miami county, the daughtter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph HAHN. In 1945 she married Walter McELHENEY, who preceded in death. She was a lifetime resident of Peru.
She is survived by one son by a previous marriage, Ralph FOGELSANGER, Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl HEATON, Delphi, and Mrs. Melva JOHNSON, Peru; eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Flowers-Leedy funeral home in Peru with the Rev. John SINER officiating. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in the Santa Fe cemetery in Miami co
