JACOBS - Gary A. Jacobs of Eugene passed away August 1, 1989, at the age of 34. He was born December 21, 1954, in Eugene, Oregon. He was married August 16, 1981, in Walton, Oregon, to Vivian Hinze. He had lived all of his life in the Lane County area. He had just received his ham radio operator's license and enjoyed electronics and working on radios. He enjoyed mechanics and loved motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Jacobs of Eugene; his daughter, Marion Jacobs of Eugene; his parents, Fred and Sally Jacobs of Eugene; his brother, Rod Jacobs of Elmira; his half-brother, David Jacobs of Veneta and his half-sisters, Patty, Laura and Margaret Ann. Memorial services will be Saturday, August 5, 1989, at 11 a.m. in CHAPEL OF MEMORIES FUNERAL HOME, 3745 West 11th Ave., Eugene, with Reverend Fred Lydum of the Asbury United Methodist Church officiating.
