Bob was the last surviving member of the Keefer family. His parents, seven sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob leaves his best friend, Carl Krakel, with whom he made his home.
He lived in California for many years, where he was employed by Atlantic Richfield Oil (BP). He retired in 1978.
Bob enlisted in the United States Army on Aug. 6, 1941, and served until January 1946. He served in the Middle East Theater and the Asiatic Pacific Theater during World War II.
