A daughter of William May and the late Sallie Fulk May, Mrs. Bare was born near Fulks Run on April 6, 1880.
Forty two years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. Bare, who survives her.
She was a faithful member of the United Brethren Church and a woman of high christian character.
Besides her father, who lives in Nokesville, Va., and her husband, she is survived by five children, Mrs. Clarence Fulk, William N. Bare, Marvin W. Bare, Garnett Bare, and Miss. Hazel Bare, all of near Fulks Run.
She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. C.M. Hively, of Nokesville, one brother, Rover May, of Occoquan, Va., and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Mt. Carmel Church with friends meeting at the Bare home. Services will be conducted by the former pastor Rev. E.B. Caplinger, assisted by her pastor, Rev. P.W. Fisher. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
