Services for Mr. H.S. McDaniel were Held Sunday

Funeral services for Mr. H.S. McDaniel were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in the First Baptist Church of Minco with Rev. Richard Douglas in charge.
Pallbearers were Marshall Key, George Tidwell, C.C. Chappel, Kelley Wilson and Ernest Howery. Burial was in the Minco Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of the Reynolds Funeral Home.
Hiram Stanley McDaniel was born at Springtown, Arkansas where he was converted and united with the Baptist Church at an early age, living a faithful Christian life until his departure.
He was a charter member and Deacon of the Hazel Dell Baptist Church until 1946 when he moved his membership to the First Baptist Church in Minco.
He was united in marriage August 27, 1890 to Miss Belle Jenkins at Norman, Oklahoma. To this union were born nine children, seven daughters and two sons. His wife and three daughters preceded him in death. Survivors are, Lula and Emma McDaniel of the home, Mrs. Essie Dobbs of Minco, Mrs. Effie Smith of Yukon, J.J. McDaniel of Minco and Bert McDaniel of Tecumseh, Oklahoma. One sister, Mrs. Dosia Hixcox of Konawa, Oklahoma, 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He leaves many other relatives and a host of friends to mourn his passing.
