DECATUR -Mrs. Daniel (Maggie Abel) Pugh, 67, of Decatur died 9:10 a.m. Wednesday (June 12, 1991) in her home. Mrs. Pugh was born in Shawneetown on April 7, 1924, daughter of James and Minnie Spottsville Abel.
She was a member of St. Peter's A.M.E. Church and was a homemaker. She married Daniel Pugh in Decatur on Oct. 25, 1947.
Surviving are her sisters, Maurine Abel, Lula Mae Freeman, Clara Carter and Alma Jean Hart, all of Decatur; brother, Ivan Abel of Sacramento, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Vernel Williams, Sherry Butler and Toni Kippen, all of Philadelphia, Pa.; Evelyn Nance of Columbia, S.C.
Her parents, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
