Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2007, for Henry Lee Vanderpool, 58, at the Palms Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton. He was born in Liberty on January 13, 1949 to the late Custer and Ethel (Scott) Vanderpool. A lifetime resident of Liberty County, he will be totally missed by all who knew and loved him. He passed away suddenly on Monday, September 24, 2007 at his home. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Eddie and James Vanderpool. He leaves behind his brother, Paul, and his wife, Patsy Vanderpool of Liberty; numerous nieces and nephews. Sterling Funeral Home, Dayton, was in charge of arrangements.
