Abdon G. Salas, 69, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Friday, December 31, 2010. He was born on July 30, 1941 in Robstown, Texas to Jesus and Victoria Garza Salas. Abdon was a Catholic, a plumber and a lifelong resident of Robstown, Texas. Abdon was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

Abdon goes home to reunite with his parents: Jesus and Victoria Salas and a sister, Guadalupe Trevino who preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 44 years, Maria Medina Salas of Robstown, Texas; his children: Orlando (Wanda Martin) Salas of Flour Bluff, Texas, Rolando Salas, Rolando Sebastian Salas, Kennedy Brooke Salas all of Robstown, Texas; his brothers: Antonio (Delia) Salas of Houston, Texas, Domingo (Maria Ester) of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sisters, Juanita Salas, Angelita (Alberto) Orona, Consuelo (Alberto) Ayala, Gloria (Agapito) Razo all of Houston, Texas, Alicia (Antonio) Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas, Oralia (Rene) Flores of Robstown, Texas and Olivia (Ricky) Galvan of Corpus Christi, Texas.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday and Monday, January 2, 2011 and January 3, 2011 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas.

Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Tomas Chavez, Jr., Armando Medina, Zeke Flores, Joe Trevino, Tyler Castaneda, and Eric Galvan
