The sad news reaches us that Mrs. Ellen Hogan died at her home in the town of Tara this week and was buried in the Collis cemetery on Wednesday last. Among her many friends Mrs. Hogan was recognized as a kind hearted, God-fearing woman, who was ever ready to lend a helping hand to the unfortunate, or administer to the needs of the friend in distress. Her kind disposition and the christian life she led gained her the respect of many acquaintances who sincerely regret her death, and who extended sympathy to the grief stricken relatives. She leaves a husband and several young children.
