Son of Avington William Stice & Nancy Bird March-Stice. Obituary "The Memphis Reveille" Thursday 28 Sep 1922. Full text: Daniel Stice was born Dec. 4, 1865 and died Sept. 22, 1922 at age 56 years, 9 months, 18 days. Married Jan. 12, 1887 to Ida May Trimain. Nine children were born to
them, all living but one, Mrs. Sina Freshwater. Those living are Minnie Jennings, Leslie Elbert, Johnnie, Nina, Ohlen, Silas, and Eldon, all of near Bible Grove. He united with the Christian (Church) church at Bible Grove Sept. 10, 1922. Beside the wife and children, he is survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Interment was in the Bible Grove Cemetery.
