Mrs. Mary Agnes DeShunk passed away at her home, 73 South Main Street, on Tuesday afternoon, Feb.. 7 after an extended illness.
Mary Agnes Arbogast was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1858, the daughter of Philip and Sarah Arbogast. In 1878 she was united In marriage with Geo. W. DeShunk of Brownsville, Pa. Beside her husband she is survived by 12 children: Mrs. Oswald Johnson and Mrs. Wm. Decker of Wilcox, Pa.; Mrs. Horace Redington and Mrs. Dorner Manning of Port Allegany, Pa.; George W. DeShunk, Jr. of Lock, Ark.; Mrs. Lulu Bradish of Oil City, Pa.; Mrs. Wm. Finerghty of Palmyra, N.Y.; and Mrs. John J. Belmont, Mrs. Fred Balcom, Mrs. Harry Miller and Miss Catherine DeShunk, of Perry. Also by four sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held from
St Joseph's Church on Friday morning, Feb. 10, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
