Gregg D. Ward

Gregg D. Ward, 44, a former Neosho resident who died on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Shreveport, La., after a sudden illness.

He was born on May 16, 1957, in Carthage to Olen and Lillian (Scott) Ward.

He was raised in Neosho and graduated from Neosho High School in the Class of 1975. He earned his civil engineering degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He was a curators scholar during his college years. He was awarded three patents while empoyed with Pan Handle Eastern in Kansas City. He developed and marketed the "Winning Colors" Tip Sheet. He was an avid sports fan, especially golf and thorourghbred racing.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marijane Ward of Haughton, La; three daughters, Cassie Ward and Amber Ward-Woller and her husband Mike, all of Kansas City, Mo., Corina Ward of Orlando, Fla.; stepson, Paul Millard and wife Tonya; grandsons, Ryan and Alex Millard, all of Kansas City; his mother, Lillian (Scott) Ward, Neosho; sister, Diane Stockham and husband Steve, Joplin; his brother, Garry Ward and wife Diane, Houston, Texas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeannette and Bob March, Lake Ozark, Mo.; sister and brother -in-law, Lisa and Joe Wasowicz, Moberly; sister-in-law, Marjory Hooks, Lebanon; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Clark Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories. Kim Mailes will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Neosho.

Pallbearers will be Greg Bone, Tom Montgomery, Galen Wellesley, Gary Reed, Seth and Spencer Stockam, Zach Ward, Michael and Matthew Wasowicz, and Danny Hooks.

Friends may call at the funeral home from non to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The family requests that memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Ward be made to Scholarship Fund of the Bossier Parrish Community College in the field of Math & Science.

Contributions may be left or mailed to Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Mo. 64850.
