28, of Oneida, passed away suddenly Tuesday evening, January 22, at Harriman General Hospital. He was the son of the late John H. Boutwell and was preceded also in death by one son, Benjamin David Boutwell, and his grandfather, Elmer Davis. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. He is survived by his mother, Lucille Davis Boutwell of South Main Street, Oneida; his wife, Joyce Louise Hill Boutwell of Oneida; one daughter, Rebecca Ann Boutwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons: John David Boutwell of Colorado Springs, and Anthony Shannon Boutwell of Oneida; one sister, Kathy Massengale of Oneida; two brothers: Allen and Billy Boutwell, both of Oneida; grandmother, Maude Davis of Oneida; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Friday, January 25, at 2 p.m. at the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James E. Marcum officiating. Burial followed in the Foster Crossroads Cemetery. The Foster Crossroads Baptist Church Choir sang. Pallbearers were: Michael Watson, James Edd West, Jackie Stephens, Richard Foster, Richard Reynolds and Billy Reynolds.
