Mrs. Virginia Gayle Chreene
STONEWALL, LA - Services for Mrs. Virginia Gayle Chreene, 49, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, 1998 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Bill Walsworth, pastor of Restoration Church of Bossier City; assisted by Rev. Jerry Hunt, Rev. Hugh Spyres and Rev. David Bentley. Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Colvin Cemetery in Unionville, LA. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 21 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Chreene died Monday, July 20, 1998 at Willis-Knighton North.
She assisted her husband, James in pastoring Restoration Fellowship Church of Elm Grove, LA and was a long time member of Restoration Church in Bossier City.
Mrs. Chreene was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Eunice Oxford.
Survivors include her husband, James Chreene, Sr. of Stonewall. LA; ten children, Eric Nechvatal, Dana Nechvatal, Carolyn Howell, James Chreene, Jr., Laverne Garrett, John Chreene, Paula Chase, Peter Chreene, Samuel Chreene and Daniel Chreene; three sisters, Kathryn Foster, Janice Miller and Debra Riley; two brothers, David Oxford and Wayne Oxford; 26 grandchildren and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials may be given to the Restoration Fellowship Church of Elm Grove
