Bessie Mae Brown Curry, 90, of Kingsland, Arkansas, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, at St. Vincent's Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Born in Cleveland County, on December 14, 1909, she was a daughter of the late William Henry Brown and Dora Alice Nichols Brown.

She was a member of the Kingsland United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Curry was also preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Curry, who died December 19, 1991, two sons, Roy Curry, who died November 21, 1994, and Billy Ray Curry, who died in 1928, and a daughter, Geneva Curry, who died May 15, 1987.

Survivors include three sons; Raymond Curry of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Jimmy Curry of Crossett, Arkansas and Thomas Curry of Fordyce, Arkansas, two daughters Rachel Sue Offutt of Little Rock Arkansas, and Verla Smith of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and a great- great- grandchild.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, June 12, 2000, at the Chapel of Frazer's Funeral home in Warren, Arkansas, conducted by Rev. William Paul Wooley and Rev. Dusty Rhodes.

Burial was in Union Cemetery at Rye, Cleveland County, Arkansas by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Dwight Offutt, Michael Curry, Shane Jackson, Ron Raney, Maxwell Curry and Jason Offutt.
