ASA ANDREWS
Asa Andrews, 77, a retired farmer who moved here 21 years ago from Murfreesboro, Arkansas died Sunday in a Phoenix hospital.
Mr. Andrews, 214 E. Broadway, was born in Montgomery County, Kansas. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God.
Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 7027 S. Central. Friends may call there from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in East Resthaven Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle; four sons, Jay of Safford , Oral of Sterling, Oklahoma, Clarence of Oklahoma City and Wayne of Corpus Christi, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Messick of Oklahoma City and Laura Thacker of Hughson, California; a sister out of state; 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
