Robert and his wife Mary Phillips and many of his children moved to California in the 1870's. Mary, his wife, died in 1893. Probing of the left side of the Frasier/Alexander Family Plot showed 2 Caskets beneath the surface of the ground. They are believed to be Robert and Mary Phillips Alexander. A Cemetery Marker in their Honor was placed there by their Gr Gr Grandchildren Freeman Alexander Black and Carole Lee Alexander.
