Mildred Helen Beard Dunaway Hancock, 67, of Pansy Community, Cleveland County, Arkanssa, died Sunday, August 14, 1994 at her home.

Born at Hamburg, Arkansas, on December 14, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Frank Beard and Thelma Owen Beard.

She helped at schools and did volunteer work for the Air Force.

Mrs. Hancock was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church at Monticello, Arknasas.

Survivors include her husband; David D Hancock of Pansy, , for sons; Perry Dunaway of Van Buren, Arkansas, Dale Dunaway of Pansy, Arkansas, Steven Hancock of Orlando, Florida, and John Hancock of Monticello, Arkansas, two Daughers; Susan Rodgers of Lakeview, Oregon and lelia Price of Warren, Arkansas, a brother; Dr. Arthur Beard , of Mr. Home, Arkansas, 16 grandchildren, and a great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in Star City, Arkansas by Bro. Roy Williams.

Burial was in Prosperity Cemetery in the Herbine Community, Cleveland County, Arkansas by Griffin Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Clyde Beard, Jimmy Richardson, Greg Patrick, Jerry Smith, Kenny Tillman, Ronnie Tillman and Jesse Owen.OBIT provided by Linda Newman
