MRS. DELILAH S. KREBS, wife of Humphrey N. Krebs, died at her home near Bowman's Store, Brodbecks RFD, Pa., May 4, 1947, after a long illness, three months of which she was bedfast.
Mrs. Krebs at death had reached the age of 75 years, 8 months, 3 days.
Mrs. Krebs was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sterner, and spent her entire life in this community. Only recently Mr. and Mrs. Krebs observed their 57th wedding anniversary.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sarah Markel, a son, John C. Krebs, a grandson, a great-grandchild, three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Yingling, Mrs. Alice J. Wilhelm, Mrs. Missouri Black, and two brothers, John T. Sterner and Clinton A. Sterner.
She was a faithful member of St. Jacob's Reformed Church, and her pastor Dr. Paul Yoder conducted the funeral service, assisted by your pastor, on May 7th. After a family service at the home, a public service was held in St. Jacob's Church. Burial followed in the new cemetery.

Mrs. Delilah Sterner Krebs, wife of Humphrey N. Krebs, was born September 1, 1871, and died at her home near Brodbeck's, Pa., May 4, 1947, aged 75 years, 8 months, and 3 days.
Mrs. Krebs had been ill for a long time. She had been a patient sufferer. She was a devoted mother, a faithful wife, a kind neighbor and friend. She and her husband had just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary only a few weeks before she died.
She was a faithful and lifelong member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Evangelical and Reformed Church, and attended its services regular when health permitted.
The funeral services were held from her late home on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 1947. Rev. K. S. Ehrhart, D.D., assisted. The services were continued at the Stone Church where her pastor preached the sermon on John 14:2. Burial was made in the new cemetery.
