Hugh Anderson Succumbs Here

Services have been tentatively set for Saturday morning for Hugh C. Anderson, 75, who died early this morning after a long illness.

Mr. Anderson had been a resident of Casper for 15 years, and was proprietor of the Red Front Store at 12th and Cherry St. for 10 years before being forced to retire because of ill health.

He was born in Fredonia, Kan., Feb. 23, 1879, and spent several years in Indianola and Des Moises, Iowa, before moving here about 15 years ago. He and his wife, Lelia, made their home here at the CY Apts.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife; one sister, Mrs. Boyd V. Osborn of Casper; one brother, P. P. Anderson, Basin; two daughters, Mrs. G. R. Coon of Mills, and Mrs. D. H. Staats of Englewood, Colo.; two sons, William H. Anderson, Belleville, Ont., Canada; and Hugh W. Anderson, Woodward, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

He was a member of Casper Lodge 15, AF and AM; Casper Kiwanis Club; Fort Casper Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star; and the First Presbyterian Church.
