Born to Ruben Felker (1818-1901) & Caroline Elizabeth Welch Felker (1824-1896). The entire family moved from South Carolina to Marion County, Texas in 1872.

Minnie married Thomas A. Sanders of Georgia (1856-1928) on Dec. 26, 1886, in Liberty, Marion County, TX, after the death of her sister, Thomas' first wife.

Five children:
• Myrtle Sanders Simmons (1888-1978)
• Bernice "Bennie" Sanders Lockett Boone (1891-1986)
• William Codie Sanders (1894-1978)
• Thomas Patric Sanders (1900-1900)
• Harbin Harrison Sanders (1909-1981 in San Joaquin County, CA)

Minnie died at age 95.
