Andrew Wiliam Cook was the son of John Washington & Isabelle(McKnight)Cook. John, (his father), was married 3 times. The first one was Mary Jane Payne Richardson, then Molly Chancellor and last was Isabelle McKnight, who was the mother of Andrew. Andrew married his 1st wife,Lela Mae McWilliams and together they had a son, Dewey(DW) Wilburn Cook. Lela Mae died shortly after that. Andrew married a 2nd wife, Mary Alice Carter on 3Jun1916 in Sulphur Spgs., TX. Mary helped him raise D.W. plus gave him 10 more children:
