Mrs. Foley was born Dec. 28, 1915, in Mount Jackson, daughter of the late Claude Lester Rupert Sr. and Pearl Irene Hepner Rupert. She was a member of Mount Jackson United Methodist Church and was an Avon representative for 34 years.
Surviving are five sisters, Pauline Vivian King of Woodstock, June Polk of Broadway, Dolly C. Thorpe of Mount
Jackson, Alice Harpine of New Market and Betty Huffman of Timberville; three brothers, Garry Rupert of Bridgewater, Claude Rupert Jr. of Gainesville, Ga. and Rodney Rupert of Mount Jackson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral was conducted Thursday, Aug. 18, at Dellinger Funeral Home, Mount Jackson, by the Rev. Jeffry J. Roberts. Burial was in Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery.
