Mrs. Mary (May) E. Lippencott, aged 85 years, died at her home, Waynesburg R. D. 1, at 10 a.m. Friday, January 7, 1955, following a lingering illness. She was born at Waynesburg R. D. 1, Sept. 2, 1869, a daughter of the late William Henry and Harriett Rinehart Grimes.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas W. Lippencott of Waynesburg, R. D. 1, and the following children: Henry Franklin Rhodes of Detroit, Mich.; J. Howard Lippencott of Waynesburg; Mrs. Margaret E. Henderson, Detroit, Mich. Also surviving are five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her first husband, Frank Rhodes, as well as one daughter, Ada Pearl Rhodes, and one son, John Russell Lippencott, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church at Ruffs Creek.
