Mrs. Mary S. Leech, widow of Charles Leech, former resident of Williamsport and Muncy, died at 2.15 a. m. Monday, Jan. 31,1944, in the General Hospital, Stroudsburg. For the past three years she had been residing with her daughter, Mrs. Donald Goldy, Stroudsburg.
Also surviving, is a brother, the Rev. Charles Harmom, Grand Island, Neb. Mrs. Leech was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg and a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church here.
Services will be held at 2.30 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home, 733 Borad Street, Montoursville, with the Rev. Howard R. Gold, pastor of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m. Wednesday.
