Lueverta "Bert" Tener, age 70, of Bremen, passed away Friday, November 24, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Bremen to Ray & Olive (Quier) Slusser. On November 25, 1954 she married Lowell H. Tener. He preceded her in death in 1994. Bert was a lifetime resident of Bremen and Mishawaka. She retired from SKF Bearing in 1999. She also owned and operated Tener's Bakery in Bremen with her husband. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bremen and a 1954 graduate of Mishawaka High School.
She is survived by her three Sons and one daughter;11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 7 sisters and 3 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 grandson Nicholas and 3 brothers.
Services will be held 11:30AM Monday, November 27, 2006 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 9:30AM - 11:30AM prior to the service Monday at the church.
