Glen Davis Cornish of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010. He was 74 years old, born to John Columbus ("J.C.") Cornish and Sarah Frances Davis Cornish. He married Marie White on January 5, 1958. He retired from Firestone/Bridgestone Tire Company. He then began Cornish Tire Company which he operated for seven years. He was a member and deacon of Pearcy Baptist Church. He was a Mason, a member of the Buffalo Gap Masonic Lodge #484 in Langley.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Cornish; his son and daughter-in-law Kyler and Elizabeth Cornish; his granddaughters, Blakely Cornish and Meredith Cornish.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 30, 2010 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs with Bro Kirk Gassman and Bro Kevin Jewell officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hot Springs.
Pallbearers will be Bubba Spray, Matt Wolf, David Miller, A.J. Meredith, Glen Harkrider, John Smalling, John Wayne Plyer and Bob White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Martin Koehn, Molly Harvey, Dr. Lawrence Mandelsohn, Billy and Cindy Wallace, the staff of M. D. Anderson Cancer Center and his church family at Pearcy Baptist Church.
