Alice Dismuke, 86, 806 North Second, died Monday, December 12, in a local hospital after a short Illiness. Mrs. Dismuke was born January 21, 1891 in Floydada, Texas. She had lived in Marlow for the past 18 years. She married Charley Dismuke January 28, 1908 at Delhart, Texas. He preceded her in death February 1959. Mrs. Dismuke was a member of the Methodist Church in Texas. Survivors include: two sons, Roy Dismuke of Odessa, Texas and Roy Dismuke of Amarillo, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Vera Oden of Porterville, California; Mrs. Edith Cagle of Fletcher; Mrs. Patricia Olson of Haywarden, Iowa and Mrs Woodrow Carter of Marlow; nineteen grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 10 am in the Callaway- Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Eisenberg officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
